Dear Patients,
After many years of having the honor and privilege of serving the optometric needs of Portland and surrounding communities, I have decided to sell my office to Dr. Darrin Shandley, O.D. Upon completion of the sale, I will continue to practice with Dr. Shandley. 
Dr. Shandley is a third-generation Optometrist whose family has been providing eyecare on the Texas Gulf Coast for nearly fifty years. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University College Station and the University of Houston College of Optometry. Our community is very fortunate to have him continue my work and service. I am confident you will continue to receive the highest quality eye care from him.
Dr. Shandley will be the custodian of your medical records. The clinic name, telephone number, contact information, and location will remain the same. Many, if not all, of my staff that you have come to know, and trust will continue to serve needs on behalf of Dr. Shandley.
I am very excited about assisting Dr. Shandley in helping Texas State Optical of Portland serve your optometric needs now and in the future.
