Dr. Janet Pena is a highly experienced and compassionate optometrist dedicated to providing exceptional eye care. She earned her Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from the prestigious Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, where she graduated with honors. With over a decade of professional experience and service in the Corpus Christi community, Dr. Pena specializes in comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, and the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.

Dr. Pena is committed to staying at the forefront of advancements in optometry through regular continuing education seminars. Her dedication to her patients is evident in her personalized approach, taking the time to understand each patient’s unique vision needs and lifestyle to provide tailored eye care solutions.

Beyond her clinical expertise, Dr. Pena is known for her warm and friendly demeanor, making patients of all ages feel comfortable during their visits. She believes in educating her patients about their eye health, empowering them to make informed decisions about their vision care.

In her free time, Dr.Pena loves spending time with her family and her pets. Her favorites are K-Love, Pilates, Yoga, Essential oils, and Starbucks.
